He takes part in Isola Palmaria Project’ 89 workshop in La Spezia (Italy) with the installation Inside (Evolution-involution of the human in space-time), in which he combines different materials: wood, stone, water, fire, iron and nylon.
During this year, his work experiences a pronounced evolution. Kinetic force and lightness sensation increase, whereas thickness of the vertical support decreases. The configuration of straight planes, with talayotic structure, rooted in earth and with a sensation of heaviness evolves towards curvaceous, waving, concave planes. Lightness stands out in the serial «Sospesa», of curved shapes and sometimes organic, made of paper paste, in which lead, wood or metal mesh are sometimes used, hanging from ceiling.
